Website Redesign:
The first step was redesigning the website to improve its aesthetics and functionality. The new design focused on a clean and intuitive layout, making it easier for customers to browse products and services.
Checkout Optimization:
The checkout process was revamped to ensure:
• Shipping fees are accurate
• Coupons and promotions apply as expected
• Taxes are calculated as expected
• Customers do not face errors while checking out
• Checkout forms cannot be spammed or misused by hackers
• Customers have a wide range of payment options e.g. ACH.
Improved Product Listings:
The product listing pages were improved by adding lazyload to large images and optimizing images where needed. Additionally, product filters were added for faster/more straightforward navigation.
Improve Website Infrastructure:
The site was migrated to a more cost-effective, reliable hosting provider with better support (Cloudways.com). Additionally, the site was upgraded from Magento 2.2 to Magento 2.4.
Improved Email Delivery:
The email addresses associated with the website domain were migrated to Microsoft Outlook. Proper DNS configurations were added to ensure delivery and avoid spam filters.
Improved Site Speed:
The site speed was improved by adding Varnish Full Page cache, adding CloudFlare CDN, optimizing code, and adding a cache warmer.
Improved Site Security
Site security was improved by adding Google Recaptcha to forms and improving form validation to prevent the injection of malicious code.
